Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer (born August 4th, 1981) is an American actor. Her most well-known work is the roles she played in the movie Cowboys & Aliens. The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great & Powerful The Great and Powerful, this Is Where I Leave You. Her current role is Amantha Holden in The Sundance Channel Drama series Rectify. Abigail Leigh Spencer works as an actress in both film and television. Her roles in both the drama show Rectify and the sci-fi show Timeless have made her an international star. Her debut as an actor was All My Children, a soap opera based out of Gulf Breeze Florida. The soap opera All My Children won her an award from Soap Opera Digest for Best Female newcomer. Her main role was guest roles over the course of some time. Her performance was praised for the character she played in the show as Dr. Erin Jameson of Hawthorne. Her character slowly gained a huge following thanks to her gorgeous look and incredible acting talents. When she was twenty, she made her debut in the film Campfire Stones. Her other roles in include Jekyll This Means War and Chasing Mavericks. Her nomination was to the Madrid International Film Festival Award' for her role in the film Beautiful Now'. Her most recent work in television is the lead character of the history professor Lucy Preston in the sci-fi television series Timeless. The show has been appreciated by critics and Spencer's performance has resulted in her being nominated to the Teen Choice Award.
